Founded in 1919 under the name of "Ritz de Barcelona", the recently renovated El Palace represents the last word in opulent stateliness and has maintained its turn of 20th century decoration and feel.
Even though it is located two blocks off Passeig de Grà, we could not omit it in our reviews of hotels on Passeig de Gràcia as it is another institution in tow.
It used to be Salvador Dalí favourite place to stay in Barcelona.
